Animal Crossing: New Horizons WIll Is Getting Some More Content!

We got some news from Nintendo of America on twitter and on the Nintendo YouTube yesterday, and that news is that new free updates and seasonal content will be coming to Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Nintendo’s official YouTube channel has a video showing two upcoming free updates that will be coming Animal Crossings: New Horizons. The first of them being “Festivale” which will be available on February 15th! It shows a new character that will be outside of the mayors office and from the looks of it, it’s a peacock name “Pavé the dancer”. New items you can see are feathers floating around, villiagers throwing confetti, feather headdresses and more! Another quick image we get it a sort of Super Mario themed update that will be in March. An exact date or what will comes with the update was not specified.

On twitter we got news on what is the most recent update coming to Switch. The update will be some seasonal content in the form of Japanese Setsubun. Long term fans of the series will remember there was a similar styled event on the 3DS version Animal Crossings: New Leaf.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons fans have something to look forwards to starting on 2/1/21 with the ogre costume, and followed by the bean-tossing kit being available two days later.
