Whitethorn Games’ own Usability and Accessibility Specialist Britt Dye will be speaking at GAconf USA, an accessibility conference taking place on October 24 and 25 in Redmond, California and online. Hosted by the IGDA’s accessibility group, the conference features a wide range of speakers from across the gaming industry, all speaking on accessibility in gaming; its current state of it, its future, and everything in between.
Britt Dye’s talk, “Prioritizing Accessibility: How an indie publisher threads empathy, responsibility, and education to support accessibility in their titles”, will take place on October 25 at 1:15 PM PT / 4:15 PM ET. She will discuss in detail how Whitethorn Games works closely with all stakeholders — developers, players, and communities — to enable and support accessibility across all of its games.
