The launch of Cyberpunk 2077 has been a bag of mixed reviews, and as the days go on it seems like there has been more negative things to say. The amount of players with negative experience’s have been mainly on the “old gen” on consoles such as the PS4 and Xbox One grouping of consoles. Sony made an announcement that should be a happy sighting for players on the PS4
“SIE strives to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, therefore we will begin to offer a full refund for all gamers who have purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store. SIE will also be removing Cyberpunk 2077 from PlayStation Store until further notice.
Once we have confirmed that you purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store, we will begin processing your refund. Please note that completion of the refund may vary based on your payment method and financial institution.”
This sounds like anyone that purchased via the Playstation Store will be able to get a refund for the game if they feel the need to return it, and the title will also be pulled from the virtual shelves of the Playstation Store. There is no word on when Sony plans to return the game to the PS store, and there was also no news currently if Microsoft will follow suit in pulling the game from their online stores.
CD Projekt Red has made a statement saying that a patch “will coming within the next 7 days”, and that they are planning for more updates early on in 2021 that should “Fix the most prominent problems gamers are facing on last-gen consoles,”
