Motionless in White is my favorite band, hands down!!! I love all kinds of music but heavy music has always been prevalent in my almost 28 years of living. Today I will be ranking all of their albums, now this list isn’t the general consensus of all MIW fans but just the opinions of one person, myself, David Shoemaker aka Shoemaker13 on WordPress and Frankenculture.com. The list will start with number five and work its way up to number one. It is a really hard rank to albums especially when it comes to your favorite band!! Let’s see if anyone else agrees or feels otherwise!

5. Graveyard Shift (2017; Roadrunner Records )

Graveyard Shift was released two years ago through Roadrunner Records, the band’s first release on a major metal record label. I really have no complaints about this album, I enjoy every single song, in fact I don’t think there is a MIW tune I dislike. This album continued MIW’s constant journey in evolving their sound. A lot of songs on Graveyard Shift had a big Korn vibe, which I love! Motionless In White have always incorporated Nu Metal elements to their music. My favorites on Graveyard Shift are; Queen For Queen, The Ladder, 570, Hourglass, and Eternally Yours.
4. Creatures (2010; Fearless Records)

Now, here is where I think a lot of people will disagree with me. Creatures, is the fan agreed upon favorite album. Most any MIW fan you meet 10 times out of 10 their favorite album is Creatures, and who could blame them? The album is a Metalcore masterpiece from start to finish and the band’s horror imagery helped set a permanent stain in all the minds of most MIW fans. Like most fans, Creatures was my favorite album for a long time and had the mindset that nothing could top their first album, but unfortunately here we are in 2019 and Creatures is number four on the list. What I love most about this album is the creativity in the lyrics and horror-vibe. In all honesty, Motionless In White filled this empty spot in my being that My Chemical Romance once held, just more scary and heavy. My favorite tunes on Creatures are as follows; Immaculate Misconception, London In Terror, .Com Pt. II, Puppets (The First Snow), Undead Ahead, and Scissorhands (The Last Snow).
3. Disguise (2019; Roadrunner Records)
Now, we reached the album I won’t say too much on, well, except for the fact that tomorrow will be the release of What’s Spinning Me which will feature the aforementioned album, Disguise. I will say this though, Disguise is the best representation of who the band is currently. Still the same old MIW just more mature. Motionless In White, from what I have observed, is that they always achieve creating a sound that both incorporates their Metalcore roots while continuing forward with a more Nu-Metal sound. Check out the song Headache. This is how Motionless In White should sound in 2019.
2. Reincarnate (2014; Fearless Records)

!The number two spot belongs to Motionless In White’s third album, Reincarnate. Reincarnate was released in 2014 and it was the band’s biggest departure from Metalcore music, the songs, are still heavy but more radio friendly. Reincarnate had more of a Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, and Korn vibe, which I personally enjoyed. I always get bored of heavy bands ,when they start to just make the same album over and over again. Reincarnate also featured big figures of the Metal community like Dani Filth of Cradle Of Filth (Puppets3: The Grand Finale) and Maria Brink of In This Moment ( Contemptress ). The album just has catchy tunes, the choruses are just unrelenting and shower sing-able. The title-track single Reincarnate garnered a lot of radio play and gained a bigger audience which ultimately lead them to moving on to a bigger label like Roadrunner Records. Reincarnate is Motionless In White’s last album to featured on the label, Fearless Records. My favorite tunes on Reincarnate are; Death March, Wasp, Dead As Fuck, Break The Cycle, and Dark Passenger.
1. Infamous (2012; Fearless Records)

I imagine a lot of people will be shocked to find out that, my personal all time and number one favorite album, is the band’s sophomore release, Infamous. The world was supposed to end in 2012 and well, it didn’t. Motionless in White released their second album Infamous on November 13, 2012. Now, in all honesty I don’t remember what day the world was supposed to end and who cares, because clearly it didn’t happen. Do you know what actually happened? Motionless In White released an awesome album that I still listen to on a daily basis. The most relevant reason of why I came to the decision of Infamous being my favorite album is because, in June 11, 2013 MIW released the deluxe edition which featured two new songs and some remixes. Now, a lot of people when it comes to their favorite band can never cough up an answer, and well, that’s mostly because they love every song. That’s why they are your favorite band, right? BUT!!! I can tell you my favorite song and that’s Fatal, which is was one of the two new songs on the deluxe edtion. My only complaint to Motionless In White, is, “Why didn’t you put this on the initial release?!“. In my honest opinion this is Motionless In White’s most pissed off album. It feels a lot more aggressive to me. Infamous also had features like, Bjorn “Speed” Strid of Soilwork (Puppets2: The Rain), Brandan Schieppati of Bleeding Through ( If It’s Dead, We’ll Kill It), and Michael Vampire of Vampires Everywhere! (America). My favorites on Infamous are; Fatal, Sinematic, Devil’s Night, Black Damask (The Fog), If It’s Dead, We’ll Kill It, Synthetic Love, and Sick From The Melt ft. Trevor Friedrich.
