E3 is upon us and EA started it out with their EA Play event! They gave us a lengthy look at Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order including 15 minutes of pure gameplay.

You’re playing as Cal, and in the gameplay you’ve already been training for a while but not yet a full Jedi. This is after Episode 3, so you’re one of the last Jedi around, looking to restart the Jedi training. As you go through the stage your using the force to bring storm troopers to you to stab with your light saber. Some of the elements I really enjoyed seeing, using your saber as a torch and a sort of Max Payne time stop where you dodge laser blasts.
Cal is joined with his Droid BD-1 , to free a group of Wookies that has been taken hostage by the Empire. BD-1 has tons of abilities it seems as well, providing you with extra light and hacking doors. It’s also worn on your back and will scamper off to do tasks, a breath of fresh air from the C3PO and R2 days.
