The other day Xbox made some exciting announcements at XO18, which is an event that is all about the Xbox platform. Over the 2 hour-long event there were tons of announcements, and here are some of the best that came up!
Keyboard and Mouse Support!
With the world between consoles and gaming pc’s becoming ever more similar, Xbox announced 14 games that will come with KB&M support.

All of these games starting Nov. 14th will be able to be played with keyboard and mouse setup on Xbox.
New Games Coming to Game Pass!
Along with the list of games that are getting kb&m support, we also got a list of games coming to Xbox’s game pass! The 16 new games are….

All of the games listed here are pretty great, unfortunately not all are available. Some will be releasing on games pass in the next few months, or when the game has a full release!
Sea of Thieves is Getting a New “Arena” Mode!
The Arena as it was called is going to be coming out in early 2019 (no specific date), and it looks to be like a competitive mode. Throwing crews together to see who can come up with the most pirate glory. Hunting (or looting) for treasure to be the best pirates on the water.
Minecraft Keeps Getting Animals!
Minecraft will never run out of stuff to add it seems. This time we are getting new animals, and they are going to be pandas, and Cats! The new animals will join a horde of already existing animals in the ever-expanding world of Minecraft, and will probably be a beloved addition.
Microsofts Big Purchase!
Saving the biggest news for last, Microsoft has purchased 2 well-known, and major role- playing game studios Obsidian and Inxile! Both developers are extremely similar in their style of games, but Head of Microsoft Studios made it clear that they want to keep both studios unique. Obsidian from what I know is more well known for their Fallout they made (Fallout New Vegas), and I personally cannot wait to see what they have in store now!
The entire 2 hour-long video is able to be viewed if you would like to see other stuff that Microsoft announced, but I wanted to make sure you got some of the biggest moments of the whole event! With all the new games coming to Game Pass, and even the games getting some keyboards and mice I am excited to see what Microsoft has planned after all of this!
