The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is one of the biggest electronics shows in the world. Having almost every big name company under the sun, and even some smaller groups there to show off the best and coolest gadgets and gizmos they can. Let’s take a quick look at some of the best stuff that came out this year!
Are you a dog lover but have bad allergies? Well have no worry Sony thought of you when they made Aibo. The cute little guy is a new robot dog that from what Sony say can “form an emotional bond with you” , but for a price of $1,700 and the monthly fee to keep him going he may be a bit expensive. But hey you don’t have to feed him or clean up after him.
CES this year was full of TV’s of all shapes and sizes, so many tv’s actually that they blew a fuse at the convention center that was holding them. One TV stood out among the crowded show room floor, LG’s ThinQ offers 120 FPS and an AI that learns your viewing habits to make you channel surfing easier. Also on a side note LG also showed off an insane 88 inch TV, but no price and I think it was just a demonstration and not actually a model they are going to use.
How could I not include the Vive Pro! Make your VR experience even more emersive with no wires, better resolution and better sound. Vive is pushing VR into the next level and not looking back. You can’t talk about CES and not the Vive.
Have you ever been gaming on your PC monitor and said “I wish I could play on my TV?” fear not! Nvidia has got you, They announced a goliath 65″ 4k gaming monitor. Not only is it huge it’s also very low latency and looks to have Nvidia Shield so make your stream a bunch easier. Nvidia did not announce a price on these monitors yet, but they will more than likely be very expensive.
Ok so this one is just cool, and I should have known something was up when Razer announced their phone. They have now made a laptop for your phone, so basically what you can do is plug your phone into this laptop and maximize your phone into a gaming laptop. This freakish lapdock is called Project Linda at the moment and is still in the concept stage, but this thing is awesome looking.
